Hostel in Down Town Bangkok Coolest Hangout!

Lub d hostel is one of the best hostels in Bangkok. Many of their guests agree. Lub d, in Thai, actually translates to "Sleep Well" and that's exactly what visitors do when they visit Lub d's sweet abode. People from all over the world stay here and everyone gets along pretty well. It's not uncommon to see people of all ages. It is family friendly, but also a good place to meet young individuals who are wandering around the world. In the evenings you're likely to see a group of people drinking together outside and listening to music.

The location of Lub d. hostel is wonderful. It's off BTS stop Chong Nonsi and within walking distance of Sala Daeng, Patpong, River City, Silom Village and the night market at Lumphani Park. It's nestled away from super-busy Silom and Siam road and in a very safe location. There are plenty of shops just around the corner, along with restaurants and other venue types. It is a very safe environment. They use a keyless access system (electronic cards) and in the double and railway twin room provide electronic lock boxes. The dorm rooms have lockers for your convenience.

Rooms are cleaned every single day and someone is always cleaning something. It smells fresh and the space is forever tidy. Also, there is no smoking allowed inside the hostel so you won't smell any smoke residue in your room.
The showers (in the shared bathroom and private bathrooms alike) boast hot water and are powerful, not like other hostels' showers that often only provide a pathetic trickle of water. The bathrooms are very, very clean and have a modern design aesthetic that mimicks the rest of the hostels interior.

Prices vary depending on the room. You can stay in their highest price room ("Double Room) 12 nights for under $250 USD. They often have promotional discounts if you book online at www.lubd.com. The other rooms are fairly priced, as well. For the dorms, you're looking at about 385 baht a night (which is approximately $11 at the moment). The most expensive room is double that, but it's well worth the money.

It also provides free, unlimited use of the internet to all those who are guests and free WiFi in your room. This hostel also provides a hearty breakfast every morning for only 60 baht per person (approximately $2). There is a laundry room with fair prices and a tour booking agency open daily for your convenience. The double room has a flat screen TV and personal bathroom.
